MINDFULNESS, MEDITATION & YOGA
I've been a nomadic yogini for over 25 years and spent many years living my love for travel and adventure. Sharing the teachings of yoga, breathwork, meditation and mindfulness is one of my greatest joys and devoted passion.
My journey began when I headed off to India in 1993, discovering ashram life and met my first teacher on the river Ganges in Varanasi. I dived deep into spiritual India where I lived and studied on 1-2-1 with my teacher for 2 years. It totally changed my life and path...
When I first started practicing yoga, I loved the freedom I felt in my body. I was breathing deeper, feeling stronger and fitter. Through mindfulness, meditation and powerful breathing exercises and several silent retreats I found a deeper understanding, more self-acceptance and a profound stillness. I completed my teacher training course in 1998.
These practices have continued to enhance my life and my teachings have evolved over 20 years and I have trained with many excellent teachers, and experience working with clients from all walks of life, from youth level to seniors, in the corporate sector, NHS, women's refuge, mental health and in the mind/body areas at summer festivals.
Ali is trained in Sivananda Yoga, Somatic Yoga, Pilates, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction and Breathworks and runs many retreats in Ibiza.
